Daniel José Custódio is an award-winning spoken word artist, a community activist, an educator, and an author. In 2008, he won the 2008 PSi National Poetry Competition. Custódio's performances are known to be "raw, thunderous, and life-changing."
When growing up, his poetry was used to combat a low socioeconomic status, depression, and heartbreak. Now, Daniel José Custódio uses poetry to connect his audiences to what they see, know, and do!
